If your video exceeds 50MB in size, you can upload it for free on http://media-convert.com/convert and convert it completely automatically. Simply click “Browse” on the media-convert page and upload your video. Then select the Output format "Flash Video (.flv)" in the corresponding drop down menu and click "OK" to the right. Your video will automatically be converted. Afterwards, you can save the new file on your computer and check whether the new size is smaller than 50MB.

Terms of participation for “Pixum Video Star”
Entry deadline for the video and photo contest „Pixum Video Star” is 29.02.2008. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Pixum reserves the right to publish all entries and to abbreviate or edit entries before publication. The winners will be notified after the entry deadline without legal recourse.
Along with entering the data, the contestant certifies to own all rights (incl. sound and vision) on the entered videos or photos, to own the unlimited exploitation rights, and that all videos/photos are free from rights of a third party. Should the video/photo identifiably show one or several persons, the contestant certifies that no personal rights are violated and that the persons concerned agree with the publication of the photo/video. On demand, they will confirm this in written form. Should any third party raise a claim due to violation of their rights, the contestant exonerates Pixum from all responsibility and costs deriving therefrom.
The contestant grants Pixum the following rights without remuneration:
- The non-exclusive and irrevocable license to use the data files, without restriction in time, space or content
- The right to edit the entered data files including sound and vision
- The right to use the photos and texts for publicity and in news (irrespective of form)
- The right to use the data files in connection with online communication (e.g. in connection with product presentations) on websites
- The contestant agrees with the fact that his/her name may be mentioned in the context of presenting the photo(s) and text.
If you wish to participate in our lottery but do not want to upload a video, please send a postcard with your name, address and e-mail before the 29/02/2008 to Pixum Photo Service, Postfach 52 02 60, D-50951 Cologne, Germany. The winner will be drawn amongst all participants and will be informed by e-mail. No legal action. No cash or credit alternatives for the prizes will be offered. Every participant automatically accepts the terms of participation for the contest “Pixum Video Star” with his/her participation. Subject to alteration. No legal recourse.
